Bill's air/hyd tube bender and projects
"As promised I now have a gold Anodized tubing bender. Should anyone anodize their bender I recommend they clean the steel to the metal or leave nothing or the coating won't take good. I am going to start on the ferris wheel next so will show some pictures of bending the frame for the wheel. The die in the press is a one inch and I bent .060 steel tubing ,for the steering bracket of the race car. On the first bend at 90 degrees the tubing pulled into, so I refilled the edges of the die and rubbed ( silicon LIQUID THE SILICON YOU USE TO PULL WIRES THROUGH CONDUIT ) I only rubbed it on the bottom of the tubing and it made a perfect 180 degree turn. LOVE IT THANKS Bill"
"Some pictures of the start of the kids ferris wheel . will keep sending pictures of the progress. Also the race car is in the paint shop at my other grandsons so when it gets back you will have some photos of it. looks good BILL CREESE love the press."
Bill, the bender and your projects are looking good. Keep the pictures coming and I will add them here.
"April 7,2009
finished building the sub frame for the ferris wheel, the wheel spins great and
fairly straight. I should have listened to the die makerand welded a stop block
on the material, If you are doing a lot of bending(long lengths with 5 or more
bends). I fined it important on square tubing had no problem with round. Well
if things go right and it is gods will, I will put the paint to it tomorrow
GOD BLESS ALL bill creese _-_ I LOVE THE PRESS "

I had a hard time with the seat balance point built 5 seats destroyed 3 ,have two finished one red and one green as I am sending this the orange seat is just about finished. Last one blue ,I hope will be finished by next week. Have to put some time on the race car to finish it, you should receive the pictures next as well as the wheel with all the seats. I padded the front gate so a child would not get burnt in the hot sun also the seats will be padded with seat cushions, the hubs are being turned at the machine shop, so it won't be long before I can get started on that major project. may GOD keep all safe BILL P.S. pitures of it soon. Ran one thime but we have the wrong rear gears and it shut
down in the main event. I got back from Alanta ,ga and quickly found out it
wasn't timing it was a fuse bracket gone haywire. So told wes to hook up all
wires direct. Will be back racing in two weeks GOD speed and go with you BILL

here is the latest up date on the kids ferris wheel. I put the power to it and it turn perfect, better than I ever thought it would. I still have to put the hydraulic toyota brake on the other side and built a handle for the go-cart brake. Have to build idlers for the chain and belts. Hope to have it all complete and kids on it in two weeks.
